Dr. Erin Harvey

The Cheerleader

Dr. Erin Harvey (AKA The Cheerleader), and fondly referred to as “Miss Erin” or “Dr. E,” is a pediatric occupational therapist and a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. Erin discovered occupational therapy shortly after graduating from college and immediately fell in love with the profession. She earned her doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis with research focusing on early indicators of autism. Her clinical experience spans from infancy through early adulthood. She has worked at therapeutic day schools and served as a clinic director for a center specializing in intensive treatment. She thoroughly enjoys infusing therapy with playfulness and meaning for all her clients. Erin’s voice is often heard singing and cheering on her clients as they engage in therapy. Her extensive expertise includes sensory integration, DIR/Floortime, Handwriting Without Tears, Yoga for the Special Child, and infant massage. During her free time, Erin enjoys biking, sewing, practicing pilates, and spending time with her nine (soon to be ten) nibblings!
